This is my second podcast hosting opportunity with Sound On Sound magazine, as part of their Electronic Music channel. And this time I suggested we speak to the brilliant (media) composer Nainita Desai.

I first learned about Nainita’s work at Sensoria Festival in Sheffield in 2019. She was talking about her work as a “storyteller” with sound and music as she mainly writes music for film, TV and games. She written scores for some seriously high profile work, including the eerily disturbing “American Murder” (the giant oil drums!) on Netflix, BBC documentaries and a 360 degree score for a film I cannot wait to see called “The Reason I Jump” – check it out, the book is enchanting.

I found Nainita’s passion for her gear and her work infectious as we talked about her marvellous journey in sound and music (so far).
