O how I love to see/hear artists blossom, developing creatively and technically in only 5 days!

It was such a joy to work with Brighter Sound, Delia Derbyshire Day, Spirit Studios and a bunch of bold, dedicated artists who are only just beginning their craeative careers. I supported and guided them through the journey with co-facilitators Andrea Pazos (digital visual) and Bishi (music). All inspired by the late great Delia Derbyshire and the album she made “An Electric Storm” as White Noise (Island Records, 1969). Mammoth thanks to my old engineering school Spirit Studios for sponsoring and therefore hosting the week, it felt like a welcoming and supportive environment for us all.

We performed our bold new “electric storm” audio visual show at Leeds College of Music as part of their Sounds Like This Festival on 9 March. It was great to support the young artists to consolidate the structure for a more embodied and confident performance.
