Beavering away as always at Caro C towers, I’m gearing up for a mini tour week coming up:
First stop is my old home BERLIN on FRI 9 NOV – I’m excited to be playing at the female:pressure 20th birthday party with my new raw electronica live set using only an Ableton Push controller and 2 microphones. One for the haunches as well as the head and heart and a stomping line up of talented electronic music makers/DJs/VJs.
Then I’ll be in BELFAST on WED 14 NOV at the lovely Oh Yeah Music Centre, delivering a talk and workshops about Delia Derbyshire as part of my work for Delia Derbyshire Day.
Next stop will be ABERDEEN for the Rise up Quines! festival. On THURS 15 NOV I will deliver an introduction to electronic music production workshop for female folk and on FRI 16 NOV I will do my first “masterclass” after a live performance of my piano based tracks. The idea is to allow you to get under the hood of how I blend (or juxtapose) electronic and acoustic (voice, piano, found sounds) elements live.
