Following on from the glowing success of Delia Derbyshire Day 2013, DD Day 2014 took place on SAT 12 APRIL at The Anthony Burgess Foundation here in Manchester UK. Nice that we had another full house and warm audience for our event honouring one of the pioneering women in electronic music whose fascinating archive happens to be here in Manchester.

I performed a further developed version of my DD Day 2013 commission Audient My Dear which includes live ping pong ball bouncing and ruler twanging accompaniment. Resplendent with creative and character-full live visuals by the talented young artist Andrea Pazos.

Also on the bill is a wondrous 45 min audio-visual collage with audio from the Delia Derbyshire Archive and live performances of music commissions by Ailís Ní Ríain and Daniel Weaver.

Now we are mid through a few tour dates, mainly down South this time. So if you are in one of the following cities, come experience the Delia-n delights!

Thurs 17 APRIL – The Trades Club, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. Info & tickets

Sat 19 APRIL – Horse hospital, London. Info & tickets

Sat 26 APRIL – Cube Microplex, Bristol. Info & tickets

Wed 4 JUNE – Norwich Arts Centre, Norwich. Info & tickets
